When Fate Loops Back Around

I don’t really believe in coincidences.

A year ago—November 8, 2024—I sat at my desk, heart pounding, as the prologue for Marked by Fate went live here on the site for the first time. I didn’t know if anyone would read it. I just knew that the story inside me had been waiting for years to breathe.

Fast forward one year. It’s November again, and fate, apparently, has a sense of humor.

Because this Friday, November 8, 2025, I’ll be standing inside A Court of Books and Pages in Morrow, Ohio, signing copies of Marked by Fate and meeting the people who’ve helped make this story real. From 3 to 6 PM, I’ll be there with pens, bookmarks, and a slightly shaking hand. (No matter how many events I do, the nerves never really go away.)

Then, as the clock hits 6 PM, the store’s book club will gather for a discussion about Marked by Fate. There’ll be trivia, Q&A, prizes, and probably a few emotional moments because… let’s be honest, I don’t write light stories.

And while that’s happening—while voices fill the room and readers talk about Christopher, Noa, and the world that began it all—something else will be happening at the exact same time. The next chapter of their story will quietly begin.

At 6 PM, the cover and prologue for Shadowed Truths (Book Two of The Chronicles of Fate) will go live here on the site. 🖤

The timing wasn’t planned. I didn’t realize the dates lined up until after everything was scheduled. But maybe that’s the point. Maybe some stories choose their own moment to return to the light.

Shadowed Truths isn’t just the continuation of the series—it’s the unraveling beneath it. It’s darker. Deeper. More personal. And fittingly, this begins exactly one year to the day after Marked by Fate’s first breath.

Shadowed Truths releases November 10, 2026, but its journey starts Friday night.

The cover and prologue reveal go live Friday at 6 PM.

So whether you’re joining me in Morrow or following along online—thank you. For reading, for believing, and for finding pieces of your own story inside mine.
