That’s the day it all becomes real. After eleven years of writing, revising, rewriting, doubting, dreaming, and daring to hope—I get to stand in front of a room full of people and say, “This is mine. I made this.”

It doesn’t feel real. Not yet.

But the checklist on my desk says otherwise.

✨ The Vibe: Gatsby Meets Twilight

Yes, that’s the theme. Yes, it’s exactly as dramatic and oddly perfect as it sounds.

We’re transforming The Woods Park & Pavilion into a moody, glowing, bittersweet celebration—part literary dream, part dark romantic fairytale. There’ll be string lights. A raffle basket so beautiful it makes me want to keep it for myself. A book table I’ll be quietly panic-organizing all morning.

I’ve spent months planning this. I’ve waited over a decade for this night—and I want it to feel sacred. Even if the weather throws a tantrum. Even if I trip over my words.

It’s not about perfection. It’s about finally breathing in a moment I thought I’d never reach.

Here’s the plan (at least… as planned as I can make it without the universe laughing in my face):

• A book reading from Chapter 7

• An honest Q&A session

• A raffle benefiting Homeless to Home Animal Rescue

• Book signing, selfie snapping, and a lot of happy tears

💛 Why This Party Matters

This isn’t just a celebration of a book.

This is a celebration of survival.

Of stories that waited. Of people who showed up. Of all the nights I nearly gave up. Of everything I’ve endured to still be standing here, holding a story I refused to abandon.

It’s for my past self, who wrote in borrowed corners and whispered “someday” to empty rooms.

It’s for every indie author who thinks they’re too late, too lost, or too tired.

It’s for the friends and family who said, “Keep going. We’re waiting.”

And most of all, it’s for the readers I haven’t met yet—the ones who will see themselves in Noa’s rage, in Christopher’s loneliness, in the countdown marks we all carry in one way or another.

We’re almost there.
