Bringing Marked by Fate to Life: The Final Cover is Here!

There are moments in this publishing journey that feel surreal. The kind of moments that make you pause, take a deep breath, and realize that all of this—every late night writing session, every agonizing round of edits, every leap of faith—is actually happening. Today is one of those moments because I finally get to reveal the final cover design of Marked by Fate.

And let me tell you, it is everything I dreamed it would be.

I’ve spent months living and breathing this story. Noa, Christopher, the Countdown Control Agency—they’ve been a part of my world for so long now that it’s wild to think that soon, they’ll be stepping into yours. And now, they have the perfect cover to match the intensity, mystery, and depth of their story.

The Cover: A Symbol of Time, Fate, and Rebellion

The design captures everything Marked by Fate stands for. The hourglass—a striking centerpiece—symbolizes the countdown, the relentless ticking of time that binds Noa and Christopher’s fates. The top half, a lush tree bathed in golden light, represents life, hope, and freedom. The bottom half, a fractured dystopian city, is the world they’re fighting against. And the intricate, almost regal frame of the hourglass? A reminder that even power—no matter how grand—can be shaken.

It’s dark yet luminous. It’s mysterious yet full of promise. It’s exactly the kind of visual storytelling I wanted for this book.

The Journey to the Perfect Cover

As a graphic designer at heart, I thought about letting someone else handle the cover. I even worked with a design company for a while, but I quickly realized that I was too close to this project to let go of my vision—and yet, that vision wasn’t quite translating the way I wanted it to. So I took matters into my own hands.

It was a process full of trial and error, of obsessing over details, of making sure that every element truly captured the soul of this story. And when it finally clicked, when I looked at the finished design and felt that feeling—the one where you just know—I knew I had made the right call.

Seeing this final design, holding it in my hands, knowing this is what will sit on bookshelves and in readers’ hands—it’s both exhilarating and terrifying in the best possible way.

A Step Closer to the Big Day

With the cover finalized, we are one giant step closer to release day. Marked by Fate officially launches on May 24, 2025. This cover reveal is more than just a design update—it’s a milestone. It’s another tangible piece of proof that this dream is becoming reality. And I’m so unbelievably grateful to be sharing it with all of you.

What’s Next?

With the cover now out in the world, the countdown (pun fully intended) to the book launch continues. There’s still so much happening behind the scenes—event planning, ARC reader sign-ups, marketing prep—but for now, I just want to take a second to soak this moment in.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the cover! Does it match the vibes you expected? Are you as obsessed with it as I am? Drop a comment, send a message, or scream into the void with me—I’m here for all of it.

We’re getting closer, friends. The countdown continues. ⏳
